Robins Year 2- KS1

Welcome to the Robins page. 

 The teacher is Mrs Hancock and the Teaching Assistant's are Mrs Edwards and Mrs Whittingham. 

Year 2 is a very busy place to be, where children experience many new challenges through a variety of exciting learning activities! In our English and Mathematics lessons, we focus on developing many key skills including reading, grammar, phonics and spelling, and handwriting.

Along with basic number concepts such as counting, number facts and calculations. Our topic based curriculum allows children to learn and explore using a variety of medium including music and art.

By the end of Year 2, it is our aim to make sure that our children are fully prepared for their transition into Year 3 and all the new opportunities that KS2 has to offer. Take a look at our curriculum overview to find out more!
